I think a successful designer should have the ability to manage his or her work, lead and cooperate with other designers, and understand international cultures and markets. Also, a designer must be capable of accepting, applying and understanding a client’s request and think of exceeding brand’s image while designing.
WEB PLATFORM
I have 10 years of experience designing for the web, and specialize in the areas of user interface design, interaction design, visual design and prototyping. I experienced Design and development of corporate, intranet, business, consumer, and non-profit websites at digital agency in South Korea. I also experienced social networking and online game industry in South Korea and United States.
MOBILE PLATFORM
These days I focus on mobile UI and UX design work, creating beautiful looking visuals for all types of interactive products. Umoji is my thesis project and one of my mobile application project. It designed to allow users to personalize and share their emoticons by using themselves as the emoticons. The main purpose of the application is to create their own custom Umoji.
TV PLATFORM
What is the next big thing? I think TV is going to be a hub of home Internet of Things. I'm asking to myself, how to connect with all things and how to organize simple UI to use that easily. A smart device must present a compelling reason to be chosen over a traditional one. If the hardware is incompatible with the user's preferred operating system or the connectivity is spotty, then the UX won't measure up.

I graduated at the Academy of Art University Web Design & New Media major for Master's dgree in San Francisco in December 2015. Through designing many web and mobile sites over a decade, I have learned that a good design skill alone is not sufficient for achieving my goals of becoming a successful designer.
HONGIK UNIVERSITY

I majored in Advertising & Multimedia Design at Hongik University for Bachelor's dgree, which is a reputable university of arts in South Korea. The school produced lots of passionate competitors, offered great atmosphere and set a freewheeling lifestyle for student, and these conditions assisted me to devote in my study field.
